VZ SS Diff Gears

much of a difference between 3.7 and 3.9 gears in a 6sp manual LS1?

im getting 3.7's put in only because 3.9s were out of stock for a month and ive blown my diff and need the car back asap ive been told its not much (100-200 rpm at the most)

i have 3.9's in my monaro with 6 speed, at 100 kmh it sits on 1700 rpm.
knowing that i wish i had got 4.11's.
